Financial Aid
Many of Fayette Cares’ clients are commonly referred to as the “working poor.” Employed in part-time, minimum wage jobs with no health benefits they carefully juggle expenses from paycheck to paycheck. They are your neighbors, co-workers, church family, the parents of your children’s school friends, and your employees.
When an unbudgeted expense occurs, such as medical costs, car repair or peak season utility bill, the juggling gets frantic. Families cut corners wherever possible, “rob Peter to pay Paul” but still come up short.
At Fayette Cares emergency financial assistance is available to pay rent/mortgage and utilities for low-income families experiencing a temporary financial crisis. Your contributions to Fayette Cares aid struggling families in overcoming hardships.
