How do I make a donation?
Monetary donations may be made online or sent to Fayette Cares, P.O. Box 326, Somerville, TN 38068. Donations of clothing and house wares need to be brought to the store during business hours. Fayette Cares is open weekdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Fayette Cares, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Consult your personal tax professional regarding your specific gift.
Can I shop at the Fayette Cares Good Samaritan Shop?
Yes! Yes! Yes! When you shop at the Fayette Cares Good Samaritan Shop the money you spend goes back into Fayette Cares programs.

In 2007 nearly 1,400 people were assisted in their time of need.
When were you founded?
Chartered in 1986, Fayette Cares is celebrating its 22nd anniversary of service in Fayette County.
Can you pick up my donation?
In the future we hope to be able to pick up donations but at this time donations need to be brought to the store during business hours. Fayette Cares is open weekdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Are you a government agency?
Fayette Cares is not a government agency. Fayette Cares is a private, non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
How are you funded?
Fayette Cares receives financial support from public and private sources including individual donor gifts, private foundation grants, Fayette Cares Good Samaritan Shop revenue, and state and local government grants.
