Hunger Relief Challenge
Fayette Cares is again participating in the Feinstein challenge to divide $1 million among hunger fighting agencies nationwide. Millionaire Alan Shawn Feinstein supports food pantry services and will help raise funds during March and April.
Your donations received between March 1 and April 30 will be counted toward the $1 million challenge. The greater your donation to Fayette Cares, the greater Feinstein’s match will be – thanks to you!
Each day families in need must choose between buying food and paying for utilities, rent, and medical care. Last year alone, nearly 1,000 people received food assistance at Fayette Cares, including 260 children and 140 seniors. Feinstein’s money started this challenge but it’s YOU who will help decide how many needy people in Fayette County will be fed this year.
Monetary gifts allow Fayette Cares to spend wisely, stocking essential supplies and eliminating problems related to food storage and shelf-life.
