September 7, 2021, Somerville, TN: Fasten your seatbelts and put your tray tables in the upright position because Fayette Cares has been cleared for takeoff to A Night of Southern Elegance – Destination Fayette Cares. Guests are invited to prepare for an adventure as this elegant dinner and auction gala takes flight at the Fayette County Airport in Somerville, TN on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Guest will have the unique experience of attending a chic soiree in a stunning airport facility where they’ll enjoy fine wine and dining, an extraordinary auction, and dancing in hangars and on the taxiway.
Guests can chose to enjoy the event in person or remotely via live stream. The in-person event features hors d’oeuvres, drinks, silent and live auctions, dinner, live music and dancing. The remote event features a live streamed program, silent and live auction, four-course meal, wine and beer.
Typically a sold‑out crowd of guests from Fayette, Shelby and surrounding counties attend, with others supporting the event through auction donations and volunteerism. Tickets are $250 per couple, $1,000 for a table of eight or $1,500 for a premium table. Premium tables include premiere seating, premium dinner wines, champagne toast, exceptional centerpieces, and a table host gift.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has informed us that Ring Container Technologies is returning to the event as an Opal Sponsor, once again soaring in their support of the Fayette Cares mission. Individuals, businesses and community groups are encouraged to support the event by sponsoring, making an auction donation, or purchasing tickets. Supporters fund efforts to provide safety and stability from crisis for families throughout the Mid‑South.
Like a passenger seated near the emergency exits, Fayette Cares must be prepared to help in times of crisis. The COVID health crisis has caused many to need the critical aid of Fayette Cares including emergency shelter, food, rent/utility assistance, domestic violence intervention services, and more. With the increased demand, event attendance, sponsorships and auction donations are needed now more than ever.
