OAKLAND, Tenn., October 28, 2020 – Fayette Cares, a community-supported nonprofit organization, today announced a raffle giveaway during the virtual A Night of Southern Elegance gala, where supporters will have a chance to win the live auction item of their choice with the purchase of a raffle ticket. Live auction items include diamond earrings, Pigeon Forge and Hilton Head getaways, fly fishing adventure and more, with values up to $5,000. Raffle tickets are on sale for $100 each or 3 for $250 with only 250 tickets available. You need not be present to win, with raffle tickets available to buyers far and wide. The event will benefit the nonprofit, with funds going toward helping individuals facing financial crisis, homelessness or domestic violence.

“Show Us How You Care” is the theme for this year’s event sponsored by Ring Container Technologies and many other community businesses and leaders. In addition to ticket sales and the auction, Fayette Cares has launched Fund-a-Need for its emergency shelter, which supports children, women and men in need. After more than a decade in operation, and with the COVID-19 crisis having driven even more families through its doors, the shelter is wearing out. Tickets for A Night of Southern Elegance are still available at $125 per person, $250 per couple, $900 for a table of eight, and $1,500 for a premium table of eight. Tickets include a four-course meal, drinks, guest gifts, floral, access to mobile silent and live auctions, and eligibility for exciting door prizes. Individuals, businesses and community groups are encouraged to support the event by donating auction items or sponsoring the event, with a wide range of sponsorship opportunities available.
