First Lady Issues Kids Service Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 TN children face hunger? Far too many families in our state do not have the resources to provide for their kids and Tennessee’s First Lady, Maria Lee, is calling on Tennessee youth to help.

She’s inviting students K-6 to participate in the statewide Tennessee Kids Serve Summer Challenge. This initiative encourages youth to devote time this summer to serving others. Participants will receive a certificate of recognition signed by the First Lady. Top participants will be honored with a carnival celebration, hosted by Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee.

Help transform our state through service by helping youth organize a Fayette Cares food drive. See our wish list and download a food drive poster at FayetteCares.org/food-wish-list
