MCR Safety and Fayette Cares Partner to Protect

MCR Safety, global leaders in personal protective equipment (PPE), will be the new hosts for the annual Fayette Cares charity gala, A Night of Southern Elegance, on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Piperton, TN.   The partnership is a perfect match, bringing together two organizations dedicated to protecting the community.

“Protecting people is in our DNA,” says Chris Smith, Director of Marketing at MCR Safety. With products including gloves, glasses, and garments, MCR Safety is recognized and respected globally as a PPE leader.  The company takes pride in helping employees that wear PPE for a living show up to work and leave their job the same – free from injuries.  Smith continues, “By supporting Fayette Cares we’re also helping protect people from the emotional and physical wounds of family crisis.”

The event has announced a Masquerade theme.  Families in crisis face judgement, blame, and guilt that can cause them to hide behind a mask and continue to suffer.  Fayette Cares helps families address the difficulties and trauma associated with homelessness, domestic violence, and poverty, allowing families to lift the mask that keeps them from thriving.

A Night of Southern Elegance is a fun and elegant evening of fine wine and dining, an extraordinary auction, and lively dancing directly supporting Fayette Cares.  Typically a sold‑out crowd of 500 guests from Fayette, Shelby and surrounding counties attend, with hundreds more supporting the event through auction donations and volunteerism.

Tickets are $125 per person, $900 for a table of eight or $1,500 for a premium table including luxury transportation courtesy of Sunrise Buick GMC at Wolfchase. By attending, sponsoring, and donating to the event, supporters fund efforts to provide safety and stability from crisis for families in the Mid‑South.

For tickets and information, to become a sponsor, donate auction items, or volunteer, visit or call (901) 465-3802 x223.
