Things have changed. If you’ve visited Fayette Cares recently, you’ve likely seen a closed gate and a sign that says donations are no longer received on-site. This is necessary not only for our shelter residents’ privacy but also to avoid donation dumping.
However, our 24/7 donation drop boxes are consistently filled with significant contributions of clothing, shoes, jewelry, and other apparel (click for drop box locations).

Sign up or organize a group to come Monday-Friday from 10 am – 2 pm to our location in Somerville.
With your help, we can provide high-quality clothing and apparel to clients or fill the shopping bags of those who support our mission by making purchases at the Fayette Cares Thrift Shop on the Square.
