Being a part of Fayette Cares became important to me when we moved our business and residence to Fayette County and immediately witnessed the impact the organization brings to fighting homelessness, domestic violence, and financial crisis in this community. I was inspired to support these efforts both personally and through my local business because Fayette Cares reaches so many lives and brings positive change to otherwise desperate situations.
We have been blessed as a company to volunteer and sponsor events, participate in 5k and Golf Tournaments with company teams, host company tables at A Night of Southern Elegance, as well as partner with the organization to provide on-the-job training positions within our company to help clients get back on their feet.
I encourage other local businesses to educate themselves on the tremendous work of Fayette Cares that reaches literally thousands of lives and changes them for the better! There are so many ways in which a business can experience genuinely rewarding support of this organization. Making monetary donations is just the beginning! Building teams to participate in events such as the Plant Sale, Golf Tournament, and the Christmas Food Distribution bring blessings and heartfelt experiences to your staff and gives employees a sense of being a part of something bigger than themselves.
Consider becoming a part of something wonderful, an organization providing hope and a future to so many adults and children lifted out of hopeless situations. I know you’ll find your experience being a part of Fayette Cares as rewarding as I have!
